    Wiring diagram reference for the OEM Systems Sound Terrain® SS-84 Series Single Point Stereo in-ground loudspeakers (G and S color variants). There are up to three possible wiring schemes depending on which combination of wire colors your unit shipped with and when it was purchased — check which design you have before wiring.

    Older Design (four tweeters mounted in the metal ring under the top cover)

    If your unit has four visible tweeters mounted in the metal ring just under the top cover, it uses the older design. There are two possible wiring variants for this design:

    Variant Input Right (+) Input Right (−) Input Left (+) Input Left (−)
    A White Black Green Yellow or Clear
    B White Black Blue Red

    Both variants share the same internal Piezo Tweeter and Dual Voice Coil (V/C) Woofer wiring topology — each channel's Piezo Tweeter and the shared Dual V/C Woofer are wired in parallel from the same input pair.

    Newer Design (tweeters hidden behind black foam, four connection wires)

    If your unit does not have four visible tweeters mounted to the metal ring, but does have four connection wires, you have the newer model — the tweeters are mounted behind the black foam where they aren't visible. All updated models use this single wiring scheme:

    Channel Positive (+) Negative (−)
    Left Channel White Black
    Right Channel Red Green

    Tip: Always confirm which physical design your speaker has (visible tweeter ring vs. hidden behind foam) before connecting wires — mismatching the wiring scheme to your unit's actual construction can result in out-of-phase or non-functional channels.
