    Preference® by OEM Systems Company is a reference-standard architectural loudspeaker line built on nearly 20 years of in-wall speaker manufacturing experience, designed for both critical music listening and home theater applications.

    Timbre-Matching Design Concept

    Every speaker in the Preference line is voice-matched (timbre-matched) across the full lineup. This ensures that sound moving between front, center, and surround channels in a home theater — or between rooms in a whole-house system — maintains a consistent tonal character, improving sound imaging and listening continuity.

    Key Technologies

    • Accurate Imaging Baffles (AIB) — a ribbed baffle design engineered to control diffraction and improve stereo imaging
    • Baffle-mounted EQ switches — mid/high-frequency adjustment built into the speaker baffle for room-specific tuning
    • Tetoron® soft-dome pivoting tweeters for smooth, extended high frequencies
    • Kevlar® woofers for tight, accurate bass with minimal coloration
    • Kapton voice coils for improved thermal handling and power capacity
    • Phase-plug technology to improve high-frequency dispersion
    • Clamp-ring mounting system and IR receiver knockouts for flexible custom installation
    • Removable, paintable grille frames to blend into any decor
