Owner's manual for the OEM Systems Air-Bus AB-Tx Wireless Subwoofer Transmitter.
Owner's manual for the OEM Systems Air-Bus AB-Tx Wireless Subwoofer Transmitter — a compact 2.4GHz frequency-hopping FSK transmitter that sends a wireless audio link from a receiver/preamp to a compatible Air-Bus wireless subwoofer receiver.
Power/Status Indicator: Off = no power; Steady = on and linked; Slow flash = no link; Fast flash = searching for link.
Note: Only one receiver/subwoofer can be paired to a transmitter. If two receiver/subwoofers are used wirelessly, each device must have its own wireless transmitter.
Connection of the AB-Tx requires a common shielded RCA-type coaxial cable, or a shielded two-conductor wire with RCA-type connectors. No signal connection cable is provided since cable length is installation-specific.
The unit ships with a Universal-Voltage AC adapter. Remove it from packaging and insert the connector into the jack on the back of the transmitter. Connect power only after all other connections are made, then plug the AC adapter into an AC wall receptacle.
Wireless transmitters perform best when placed away from other wireless devices (routers, other transmitters) and with minimal obstructions impeding the signal path.
Option 1 (Preferred if no LFE output available): If a line-level Front Channel Output or Preamplifier Output is available but no LFE/Subwoofer output exists, connect the left and right line-level front channel outputs of your receiver or preamplifier/processor to the Left/Right Sub inputs of the AB-Tx.
Option 2 (Preferred if LFE output available): If the amplifier connects to a modern home theater receiver/processor with an available LFE or Subwoofer output, connect that line-level LFE or Subwoofer output to the Right/LFE Sub input of the AB-Tx.
