    Overview

    The Nest x Yale Lock is a key-free, tamper-proof deadbolt made for people rather than keys. It replaces an existing deadbolt in minutes with just a screwdriver, and pairs with the free Nest app and the included Nest Connect hub for remote access, auto-lock, and low-battery alerts.

    • One-Touch Locking — tap anywhere on the keypad to lock the door behind you.
    • Simple Installation — replaces your existing deadbolt in minutes with just a screwdriver.
    • Access From Anywhere* — lock and unlock remotely via the Nest app (*requires Nest Connect within 10 ft of the lock).
    • Auto-Lock — can lock automatically when Nest knows you're away.
    • Low Battery Alerts — get notified in the Nest app before batteries die.
    • Create passcodes for friends and family, and revoke them anytime.
    • Get alerts on comings and goings.

    Requirements

    • The free Nest app, an active Google Account, and a working Wi-Fi connection
    • The included Nest Connect (for remote access)
    • 4 AA non-rechargeable batteries (included) — if depleted, the door can still be unlocked using a 9V battery for power
    • Remote access requires a Google Account and acceptance of Nest's Terms of Service (nest.com/terms)
