Napco iSeeVideo ISV WLHDCAM — Indoor HD Wireless IP Camera User Guide

User guide for the Napco iSeeVideo ISV WLHDCAM — an indoor 720p HD wireless IP camera designed exclusively for use with the NAPCO iSeeVideo VideoAlert.net server, supporting live remote viewing and motion-triggered video alerts via email.

Overview

iSeeVideo lets you view live video of your home or business from a PC, web-ready cell phone, or mobile device, anywhere there's internet access. The system supports up to five simultaneous user connections, each with their own User ID and password, plus a motion detection trigger feature that automatically emails a link to recorded video when motion is detected in a defined area.

Account Setup

1. Go to https://www.videoalert.net/.
2. If you already have a User ID/Password from your installer, log in directly. Otherwise, click NEW ACTIVATION, then Create Subscriber Account Now.
3. Create Subscriber Account: enter name, address, phone, and other required (*) fields. The User ID/Password entered here becomes the Master User with administrative privileges (Advanced Settings, adding other Users). Be sure to change your password from any default.
4. Confirmation: review entered information; use Prev to correct anything, then click Update to complete activation.
5. Login: test the new account by logging in with your new User ID/Password.
6. My Cameras: a successful login lands on the Welcome/Home screen for managing your account and viewing cameras/stored video.

Managing Users

• From My Account, click Add a New User to open the User Details screen (all fields required). The system supports a maximum of 5 Users total, including the Primary User.
• Enable "Authorize Live Video Review" to let that user view live video at any time.
• "Auto-detect Best Video Viewer" should stay enabled by default.
• Use Email Alert Settings to add email addresses that should be notified (with a link to review stored video) when a motion detection event triggers — up to 5 users, with a customizable subject line and message body.

Configuring Motion Detection (Optional)

Not required if the camera is only used for live viewing with no motion-triggered alerts. Access at www.VideoAlert.net, log in, then go to My Cameras → Video Motion icon.

• The camera supports both pixel-based and PIR motion detection.
• Check ACTIVE to enable pixel-based analytic motion detection, then drag the colored detection window onto the live image (Shift+drag to resize).
• Check Enable Integral PIR Motion Sensor for PIR-triggered events (motion crossing the camera's field of view).
• Select AND With Pixel Motion Detection to require both technologies to trip before triggering — reduces false alerts.
• Adjust each detection zone's sensitivity slider: 0% = highest sensitivity, 100% = lowest.
• Set PRE and POST capture length sliders to control how much video is stored before/after the motion event.
• Click Apply/Save when finished.

Scheduling Motion Detection

From the live viewer, click the Advanced Settings icon to set specific days/times for motion detection and email triggering — video clips and notifications only fire during the scheduled window.

Advanced Settings Reference

• Firmware Version — displays current version; prompts an upgrade button if a newer version is available.
• Camera Time Zone — sets the camera's local time zone.
• Enable Time Stamp — overlays date/time on live and saved video.
• Enable Text Display — overlays a custom camera name on screen.
• Flip Video — inverts the image for upside-down installations.
• Power Frequency — adjusts to reduce flicker under fluorescent lighting.
• LED Mode — disables the camera's Power/Network LED indicators.
• Audio — enable the front microphone and/or the rear speaker line output.
• HW Trigger Input — select "Video Clip" to trigger a clip on input closure, or "Arm/Disarm" to arm/disarm motion detection on input closure.
• Day/Night Mode — Auto (switches to IR night vision in darkness), Day Only (disables night vision), or Night Only (always on).

Viewing Stored Video

Click My Videos to see a three-frame thumbnail, date/time stamp, and options to Delete or Download each clip. Once the account's storage limit is reached, each new clip triggers automatic deletion of the oldest one.
