LockState LS-5i Series — WiFi Setup Guide (Desktop/Backup Method)

WiFi setup guide for LockState / RemoteLock LS-5i series smart locks — provisioning via desktop and the device's built-in web page (backup method, for use when the mobile app method isn't available).

Step 1 — Find the Device's WiFi Network

After power-up (or after a battery pull, which resets the lock), the device broadcasts its own WiFi signal for 5 minutes.

• From a phone: go to Settings → WiFi.
• From a PC: click the network icon in the system tray/taskbar.

Step 2 — Connect to the Device's Network

In the list of available WiFi networks, select the one starting with "RemoteLock" (e.g. RemoteLOCK-6c0b84cd0...).

Step 3 — Connect the Device to Your Home WiFi

1. Open a browser (phone or PC) and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
2. The device searches for available WiFi networks — select your home router's network and click "Next."
3. Enter your router's WiFi password and click "Submit."

Step 4 — Register the Lock in the RemoteLock Connect Web App

1. Go to www.RemoteLock.com/Login and sign up or log in.
2. Navigate to the Locks section and click "New Lock."
3. Enter the lock's information: Name (e.g. "New Lock"), Model (e.g. "LS-5i"), Serial number (found on the back of the device), and Property (the location/building the lock is installed at).
4. Click "Create Lock" to finish registration.

Notes

This is the desktop/web backup provisioning method — most installations can also be completed faster via the RemoteLock mobile app. Use this method if the app isn't available or the mobile provisioning flow fails.
