    Brochure/specification sheet for the Linear (Nortek Security & Control) PS124 Series power supplies — access control power distribution boxes offering both 12VDC and 24VDC outputs.

    Overview

    The PS124 Series pairs well with Linear-branded access control products such as RE-1, RE-2, AE, AM, Max (secured series), e3 Access Systems (non-bundled), keypads, and ProxPads. An innovative "step up" regulator design boosts 12VDC to 24VDC, and each auxiliary output is individually selectable for 12V or 24V — eliminating the need for two separate power supplies.

    Key Features

    • Four individual auxiliary outputs, each selectable for 12V or 24V
    • PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) resettable fuses — no physical fuse replacement needed
    • 2 individual access-controller power outputs (powers two modules in one housing)
    • Battery charging output for up to 2 x 7Ah batteries
    • Metal cabinet houses all wiring and batteries, with knockouts and wire tie-down loops for fast installation
    • e3 monitoring of AC power and/or low battery status
    • Fire release input — releases all attached access-controlled doors when a fire alarm activates, for easy egress
    • Each aux output rated up to 375mA max current draw
    • Notification on AC failure or low battery
    • Field-upgradeable from 4 to 8 outputs with the Upgrade Power Distribution Kit
    • Temperature rating suitable for cold/hot utility closets with poor ventilation
    • IEC 5' cord included (10-amp model only)
