Application

The Leviton DZS15 is a Z-Wave enabled universal switch designed for use with most residential lighting and motor applications. A large range of load types are supported, including incandescent, halogen and magnetic low voltage, electronic low voltage, fluorescent, and motor loads up to ½ horsepower. The DZS15 is fully compatible with Z-Wave enabled controllers, gateways, hubs, and security systems.

Wiring

Single Pole Wiring

Connect Line (Black, 120VAC 60Hz) to the switch's Hot (Black) terminal, Load to the switch's WH/RD terminal pair per the color-coded diagram, and Neutral (White) to the neutral terminal. The switch includes a labeled terminal reserved for 3-way or more applications — do not remove this label for single-pole installations.

3-Way Wiring

Supports two 3-way configurations: with a VP0SR-10Z Coordinating Remote (no LED), or with a VP0SR-1LZ Matching Remote (with LEDs). Both configurations use a Line/Load/Neutral pair between the switch and remote, following the wire color coding (WH, BK, RD, YL/RD, Green Ground) shown in the manufacturer's wiring diagrams.
