    Product bulletin for Leviton's Recessed Devices for Flat Screen TVs (Cat. Nos. 689 and 690) — flush-mounted recessed receptacles designed to hide power, audio, video, and data connections behind wall-mounted TVs, monitors, and entertainment centers.

    Overview

    Take advantage of soaring demand for flat screen TVs with Leviton's Recessed Devices. They offer a flawless, flush-mounted installation that's unobtrusive behind today's TVs, monitors, and entertainment centers. The versatile Recessed Two-Gang Duplex Receptacle (Cat. No. 690) provides AC power and openings for six QuickPort® modules that can be tailored to support voice, data, video, and audio needs. The Recessed One-Gang Receptacle (Cat. No. 689) supplies AC power to two components, such as a flat panel TV and a video receiver. Available in White, Ivory, Light Almond, and Black.

    • Centralizes device connection points for AC power, audio, video, data, and phone via an opening for 6 installer-selected QuickPort™ connectors or blank inserts (4 inserts included)
    • Fully compatible with Leviton's QuickPort Snap-In modules, including component video and S-Video signal connectors (not included)
    • Includes a plastic electrical box designed for new and retrofit construction, and a barrier separating line and low-voltage conductors
    • Helps installers manage home entertainment electronic applications from a single location

    • Supplies AC power for two components (flat panel TV and video receiver)
    • Fits most common electrical boxes available at electrical distributors and home centers (electrical box not included)
