    Instructions for use for the Leviton Multimedia Adapter Bracket (Cat. No. 47612-MMA) — a Structured Media Center (SMC)-compatible bracket designed to accept a variety of multi-port bulkhead plates for fiber, F-type, BNC, or jack connectors.

    Description

    The Multimedia Adapter Bracket is a Structured Media Center (SMC)-compatible bracket designed to accept a variety of multi-port bulkhead plates. The adapter is used to add multimedia connectivity to a Leviton SMC by snapping into the rear grid; up to two plates may be snapped into the adapter.

    Configuring the Adapter Bracket

    With multi-port plate plungers in the "out" position, press the plate into the receiving holes in the bracket adapter. Push pins in to securely mount the plate(s) in the adapter module.

    Installation

    1. Align the mounting pins with the grid holes in the back of the SMC.
    2. The bracket may be mounted horizontally or vertically.
    3. With the mounting pin plungers in the "out" position, press the unit into the grid in the desired location, and secure by pushing the plungers in.

    Operation

    Attach incoming cables to one side of a connector and outgoing cables to the other side.
