Installation instructions for the Leviton MDU Telephone Boards — Cat. Nos. 47609-F6 (1x6 Bridged), 47609-S4 (1x4, 6-Line Bridged), and 47609-S10 (1x10, 6-Line Bridged Security) — for use in Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) enclosures.

Installation

Snap the telephone board into the multi dwelling unit enclosure. Refer to the installation instructions for the MDU Enclosure, Cat. Nos. 47605-MDU, 47604-F6, and 47604-F6S.

Cat. No. 47609-S10 — 1x10 (6-Line) Telephone Security Board

The 1x10 6-Line Bridged Telephone Security Expansion Board provides 6 lines to up to 10 locations, with a RJ45 jack and a punchdown security interface for alarm systems. It includes a "From Demarcation," "Line In," "Line Out," and "Security" wiring row (positions 1–6).

Security Wiring Step: Connect the selected line to the Security Panel via the punchdown interface. This connection must be made for the selected line to function through the security interface.

Cat. No. 47609-S4 — 1x4 (6-Line) Bridged Telephone Board

Provides 6 lines to up to 4 locations with IDC connectors for Cat 5 or 5e wire.

Cat. No. 47609-F6 — 1x6 Bridged Telephone Board

Provides 4 lines to up to 6 locations with IDC connectors for Cat 5 or 5e wire and an RJ45 expansion port. To expand, use Cat. No. 42400-8FG.
