    Full text manual (for reference)

User guide for the Legrand On-Q 1-Port/4-Port Powerline Module (catalog numbers DA2301-V1 and DA2304-V1), which extends network connectivity over existing electrical wiring.

    Overview

The DA2301-V1 (1-port) and DA2304-V1 (4-port) Powerline Modules use your home's existing electrical wiring as a network backbone, giving you Ethernet connectivity in rooms that don't have a Cat 5 run — useful for extending a network to a remote room or device without running new cable.

    Front Panel Indicators & Controls

    • Power Status LED: Indicates the module has power.
    • Powerline Status LED: Indicates the powerline (PLC) network link status.
    • Ethernet Port Status LED: Indicates activity/link on the Ethernet port(s).
    • Ethernet Ports: One port on the DA2301-V1, four ports on the DA2304-V1.
    • Sync Button: Press for 2 seconds to create a new PLC (powerline) link between modules; hold for 10 seconds to clear the existing PLC link.
    • Reset Button: Press for 3 seconds to restore factory default settings.

    Basic Setup

    1. Plug each Powerline Module into a wall outlet at the desired locations (same electrical circuit/panel, though modules generally work across most standard home wiring).
    2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router/switch to the Ethernet port on the first module, and from the Ethernet port on the second module to the device you want to connect.
    3. To pair two modules together (create a new PLC link), press the Sync button on each module for 2 seconds within about 2 minutes of each other. The Powerline Status LED will indicate a successful link.
    4. If a module isn't linking, hold its Sync button for 10 seconds to clear any existing PLC link, then repeat the pairing step above.
    5. To fully restore a module to factory defaults, hold its Reset button for 3 seconds.
