Overview

The Kwikset 912 SmartCode Lever with Home Connect Technology (KW99120TRLx) is a single-cylinder electronic lever lock featuring Z-Wave wireless connectivity, letting your smart home system lock, unlock, and monitor the door remotely.

Installation

Easy installation — replaces an existing lever with just a screwdriver. Battery operated, with approximately 1 year battery life. Fits all standard residential door preparations.

Wireless / Z-Wave

RF Operation: 908.42 MHz (US). Range: typical 65 ft. line of sight. Note: control system must support Z-Wave Secure Commands for proper lock operation.

Supported Z-Wave command classes: Manufacturer Specific, Version, Security, Battery, Association, Configuration, Protection, Door Lock, User Code, Schedule Entry Lock, Door Lock Logging, Alarm, Time Parameters, Basic.

Lock-Initiated Event Notifications

• Lock secured/un-secured using keyed cylinder or inside turn-piece
• Lock auto secured — bolt jammed (not fully extended) or successful (fully extended)
• Lock secured/un-secured at keypad — bolt jammed or successful, by User-ID
• Lock secured/un-secured by controller — bolt jammed or successful
• New user code added; all user codes deleted
• Failed user code attempt at keypad
• Attempted access outside of scheduled date/time by a given user
• Low battery level, critical battery level, or battery level too low to operate the latch
