Overview

The 76724 features two Z-Wave controlled outlets for LED, CFL, and incandescent lighting as well as fans or small appliances, remote ON/OFF operation via a Z-Wave controller, manual ON/OFF control via a front push button, and remote monitoring via a mobile device (requires a Z-Wave hub or controller — functions vary by brand). Device Configuration

Adding the Device to a Z-Wave Network

1. Follow the instructions for your Z-Wave certified controller to add a device to the network.
2. Once the controller is ready to add the device, press the program button on the smart switch.

Once added, you have complete control to turn connected devices ON/OFF according to groups, scenes, schedules, and interactive automations programmed by your controller. If your controller features remote access, you can control it from mobile devices.

If prompted for the S2 security code, refer to the QR code/security number on the side of the box or the QR code label on the product, and enter the 5-digit code.

SmartStart: SmartStart-enabled products can be added to a Z-Wave network by scanning the QR code on the product with a controller providing SmartStart inclusion — no further action is required; the product will be added automatically within 10 minutes of being switched on near the network.

Removing and Resetting the Device

1. Follow the instructions for your Z-Wave certified controller to remove a device from the network.
2. Once the controller is ready to remove the device, press the program button on the smart switch.

Return to Factory Defaults

1. If plugged in, unplug the switch from the receptacle.
2. Press and hold the program button for at least three seconds while plugging the switch back into a receptacle.

Note: This should only be used if your network's primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.
