    Device Configuration

    Adding to a Z-Wave Network

    1. Follow your Z-Wave certified controller's instructions to add a device to the network.
    2. Once the controller is ready to add the device, push the toggle up or down.

Once added, you get full ON/OFF control via groups, scenes, schedules, and automations programmed by your controller. If your controller supports remote access, you can control the switch from a mobile device. If prompted for the S2 security code, refer to the QR code / security number on the box or product label and enter the 5-digit code.

    Removing and Resetting the Device

    1. Follow your Z-Wave certified controller's instructions to remove the device from the network.
    2. Once the controller is ready to remove the device, push the toggle up or down.

    Returning to Factory Defaults

    1. Slide the air gap switch to the right.
    2. While pressing the OFF (bottom) button, push the air gap left and continue pressing OFF. The LED will flash through eight colors once.

Note: This should only be used if the network's primary controller is missing or inoperable.

SmartStart: SmartStart-enabled products can be added to a Z-Wave network by scanning the QR code on the product with a controller that supports SmartStart inclusion — no further action is required, and the product will be added automatically within 10 minutes of being switched on within network range.
