    Enrolling

Set your panel into program mode (refer to your specific alarm panel manual for menu details). When prompted, trigger the sensor by moving the magnet in and out of range — the panel will beep once the sensor is successfully learned in.

Note: on 2GIG panels, configure this sensor as a "5816" type, using loop 2.

    Mounting

The recessed sensor and magnet are designed to fit snug in a ¾" hole, with a small flange on the outer rim to prevent the case from being pushed too far in.

    1. Choose a suitable sensor location and drill a ¾" x 2.5" hole in the door
    2. Mark the magnet location in the frame directly in line with the sensor and drill a ¾" x ½" hole for it

    Installing / Replacing the Battery

A low-battery signal is sent to the control panel automatically.

    1. Remove the cap on the transmitter
    2. Note how the circuit board fits into the grooves on the side of the case
    3. Carefully slide out the circuit board
    4. Determine battery polarity from the battery holder
    5. Install/replace with a CR-2 battery, + side facing the circuit board
    6. Re-insert the circuit board along the case grooves
    7. Replace the cap

Note: removing the cover triggers a zone tamper signal to the control panel.
