Overview

The Aria 6.5" in-ceiling speaker features high power handling capability, delivering true stereo sound rather than simple background music. A modern paintable grille covers the entire speaker frame using magnets, giving the IC615 an ultra-thin, discrete edge-to-edge design that's nearly invisible once mounted. Silver speaker wire terminals provide better contact surface and less resistance to signal transfer for clear sound.

Installation

• Use the provided template to mark and cut an 8-1/4" hole in drywall away from ceiling joists.
• Wire with AWG 16 or larger, stranded wire.
• For proper phasing, both speakers must be wired alike — connect red wires to red terminals on the speakers and to red or plus terminals on the amplifier.
• Install the IC615 in the hole and tighten the mounting screws. The mounting "dog ears" rotate outward and grip the drywall. Do not over-tighten the screws — a battery-operated drill on a "low clutch" setting is recommended.
• Aim the tweeter after mounting.
• To control the speaker's volume locally, use an impedance-matching volume control such as the Channel Vision VC-302W.

Warranty

Channel Vision Technology repairs or replaces any defect in material or workmanship occurring during normal use, with new or rebuilt parts, free of charge in the USA, for ten years from the date of original purchase. No mail-in warranty card is needed. The warranty does not cover shipment damage, failures caused by other manufacturers' products, or failures due to accident, misuse, acts of God, abuse, or alteration. Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.
