Overview

Channel Vision's ARIA ID653 6-1/2" in-ceiling custom installation single-point stereo speaker combines the full frequency audio experience of two separate audio speakers into a single space-saving chassis — the right solution where space is limited but sound quality cannot be sacrificed. High-quality materials ensure long life and great performance. Gold speaker wire terminals provide better contact surface and less resistance to signal transfer for clearer sound.

Installation

1. Use the provided template to mark and cut a 7-1/4" round hole in drywall, away from ceiling joists.
2. We recommend AWG 16 stranded wire or larger.
3. Connect the wire to both the left and right channel terminals on the back of the speaker by depressing each spring terminal, inserting the wire into the hole, and releasing the terminal. Observe proper polarity (+ & -) for both channels, and make sure each wire connects to the same channel and polarity on the back of the amplifier.
4. Install the ID653 in the hole and tighten the mounting screws — the mounting "dog ears" will rotate outward and grip the drywall. Do not over-tighten the screws. A battery-operated drill on a "low clutch" setting is recommended.
5. To control the speaker's volume locally, use an impedance-matching volume control such as the Channel Vision VC-302.

Channel Vision Technology will repair or replace any defect in material or workmanship occurring during normal use of this product with new or rebuilt parts, free of charge in the USA, for ten years from the date of original purchase — a no-hassle warranty with no mail-in card needed. Does not cover shipment damage, failures caused by other products not supplied by Channel Vision Technology, or failures due to accident, misuse, abuse, acts of God, or alteration. Extended only to the original purchaser when purchased through an authorized reseller; a purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase date is required before warranty repairs are provided.
