    Full text manual (for reference)

Instructions for the Channel Vision A0505 Remote Control — a handheld remote for operating Channel Vision's whole-house audio/video systems and iBus® wall docking stations without touching the keypad.

    Overview

The A0505 requires no programming and works out of the box with compatible Channel Vision equipment: P-1044, AB-124, A4601, A4603, A4623, AB-313, A0312 and A0314. It provides direct system power, zone power, source selection, mute, volume, and camera controls, plus iBus shuttle control buttons compatible with A0312, A0314, and AB-313 wall docking stations (not compatible with AB-311).

    Button Functions

    • System Power — turns on/off all zones of the multi-zone audio system
    • Zone Power — turns off audio and video for the zone you're currently in
    • Source Selection (1–4) — selects audio/video source inputs
    • CATV — selects the CATV input on the Affinity
    • MOD — selects the modulator input on the Affinity
    • Mute — mutes audio; video continues
    • Volume Up/Down — adjusts volume for the current zone
    • Camera 1–4 — direct-select the corresponding camera input on a P-6014
    • Camera Next — advances the monitor output to the next camera in sequence
    • Camera Cycle — sequences the monitor output automatically through all cameras (timing set on the P-6014)

    Using with Compatible Equipment

    A4601 / A4603 / A4623

Point the A0505 at the IR sensor on the bottom of the A0127 and press the desired button — Zone Power turns your current zone on/off; Power is the master power controlling all zones.

    P-1044 (via AB-124 keypad)

Point the A0505 at the IR sensor on the bottom of the AB-124. Zone Power turns the P-1044 zone output on/off; Power turns the AB-124 amplified keypad on/off; Source buttons 1–4 light the corresponding LED indicator on the keypad.

    P-0321 / P-0328 (Affinity)

Point the remote at an IR receiver connected to the coax-based IR system to switch between CATV and Modulator inputs remotely — the IR signal travels back over the coax to the Affinity unit.

    P-6014 Camera Sequencer

Choose any of 4 cameras directly, or select Auto Cycle mode to sequence through all connected CAT5 cameras (up to 4 supported).

    iBus Wall Docking Stations

When an iPod is docked in a compatible A0312, A0314, or AB-313 iBus wall station, the A0505's shuttle control buttons (Play/Pause, Skip <<, Skip >>) operate the docked device.
