Product datasheet for the Autoslide AS0114LBB Lithium-ion Battery UPS System — a backup power supply that keeps 24V automatic sliding door systems (including electric locking) running through power outages.
The Autoslide high-performance Lithium-ion battery Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) is designed to provide power to any 24V automatic door system in the event of a power failure, including electric locking, to maintain normal operation of the auto door operator.
The lithium-ion battery maintains a higher voltage recharge rate and lower loss ratio than traditional lead-acid or alkaline batteries. This allows the battery to produce four times the performance with a longer usable life in a smaller and lighter product. The battery pack can be fitted within the cavity of the MultiDrive system; when used with an Autoslide system, the battery sits outside the system.
Under tests with heavy sliding glass doors, the New Generation Lithium battery allowed locking automatic door systems to continue operating for over 28 hours of regular daily use, with a cycle count of 800 cycles of continual use — far exceeding previously available battery backup systems.
The New Generation Lithium UPS can be purchased with new Autoslide and MultiDrive systems, or can easily be retro-fitted to an existing operator.
The Autoslide power supply and UPS contain electrical surge protection chokes to protect the automatic door system's microprocessor. This feature helps minimize damage from electrical lightning strikes.
