    Specifications for the Arlington TVBU810 (and TVBS810) — an 8"x10" power/low voltage box designed for home theater and A/V installations, offering non-metallic installation versatility for new or retrofit work.

    Overview

    Ideal for home theater systems where multiple connections are needed for sound systems, satellite TV, cable TV, DVRs, and more. The box can be installed horizontally or vertically, and works for both new construction and retrofit installations.

    Features and Benefits

    • Accepts standard-style plates with receptacles and decorator-style devices with plates, as well as Arlington's SCOOP™ series entrance plates and hoods
    • Mounting wing screws hold the box securely against the wall
    • Supplied with cover blanks, wall plate, cable entry device (CED130), and cable connectors for unused openings
    • 1-1/2" knockout for ENT or other low-voltage wiring

    Installation Notes

    The TVBU810 supports both new work and retrofit installation methods. In new work, the box is mounted directly during framing/wall construction; in retrofit, it installs into existing finished walls. The optional TVB810C cover can be added for a clean finished look after installation.
