AFI/UCS RS Series Relay Station Control Panel — Wire Installation Instructions

Wire installation instructions for the Automated Fenestration Inc. (AFI/UCS) RS Series Control Panel (RS-2 and RS-4 models).

Step 1 — Power Connections

Connect 110VAC to the panel's power supply module: the 787-732 unit for the RS-2 panel (one module), or two 787-732 units for the RS-4 panel (one per pair of groups). Wire colors depend on the actuator model in use:

Which wire-color set applies depends on the specific actuator model being installed — match colors to the actuator manufacturer's documentation.

Step 2 — Connect Actuators to Groups

Connect actuators to all groups (Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, and Group 4 on the RS-4; Group 1 and Group 2 on the RS-2):

• Connect the actuator's Red or Brown wire (depending on actuator model) to the group's positive (+) terminal
• Connect the actuator's Black or Blue wire (depending on actuator model) to the group's negative (–) terminal

Step 3 — Connect Control Wires

Connect the control wires to the General Command block and to each group's command terminals to verify correct operation:

• OPEN terminal
• COMMON terminal
• CLOSE terminal

Test each group individually by triggering Open/Common/Close to confirm the actuators respond correctly before final closeout.
