Product specifications for the Aeotec by Aeon Labs Home Energy Meter (2nd Edition) — a low-cost, Z-Wave whole-home energy meter that wirelessly reports wattage and kWh usage to a central Z-Wave gateway.

Overview

Current transformer clamps affix around the AC mains to detect energy usage for the entire house. The meter is powered via DC (USB port) and can report electrical readings as often as every second. The main body is IP43 rated for outdoor conditions, providing better radio range by placing the antenna outside most metallic breaker boxes.

Note: Must be installed by a licensed electrician.
