    Overview

    The ACNC/TotalPlex® DP38-NxN Door Station (N-Series) includes models DP38-NBN (brass), DP38-NBKN (black), DP38-NBZN (bronze), and DP38-NSN (aluminum). These units provide standard door-to-phone communication when paired with the DP28-C door station controller (sold separately; *not included). All N-Series units mount into any standard NuTone (IR-6 or IA-70) box as either a flush or surface mount. Kits pairing the door station with a DP28-C are also available: DP38-BN, DP38-BKN, DP38-BZN, and DP38-SN.

    Features

    • Manufactured in aluminum with anodized Brass, Black, Bronze, and Aluminum finish options.
    • Mounts into any standard NuTone (IR-6 or IA-70) box as a flush or surface mount.
    • All back boxes are steel with a black powder-coating finish for superior weather protection.
    • No external power required — power is drawn from the connected Door Station Controller (DP28-C).
    • LED button lights up when the door station is active.
    • Discrete slot available for an optional 3rd-party 14mm pinhole camera.

    Applications

    • Communicating with visitors at a door, gate, or other entrance.
    • Suitable for front/rear entrances, secured facilities, remote entryways, senior/disabled housing, marine docks, delivery docks, and apartment complexes.
    • Use with the DP29-CI to trigger external devices (door chimes, cameras, lights, etc.).
    • Use with the DP29-SW to remotely open electronically locked doors or gates via phone.
    • Use with the DP38-T to answer the door from a cellphone.
    • Mount a 3rd-party 14mm security camera in the camera slot to see who's at the door.
    • Can also serve as an extra door station added to any existing Door Station Kit.

    Construction Notes

    The camera slot uses a ball-in-socket design, securely holding any 14mm security camera with easy angle adjustment. The circuit board cover box provides extra protection for internal electronics. The door station button slot houses the LED-lit activation button.
