User guide for the 360 Electrical Studio2.4™ Surge Protector with 6 Outlets + 2 USB (Model 360103) — a wall-mounted surge protector with dual angled outlets and dual USB charging.

Specifications

Inside the Studio2.4 is a metal oxide varistor (MOV). When incoming voltage exceeds 130 volts, it acts as a relief valve, diverting the excess voltage away from your connected electronics.

Safety Warnings

• Use indoors only — do not use near water.
• Do not plug any extension cord, power strip, wall tap, or multi-outlet adaptor into the Studio2.4.
• Only plug the Studio2.4 into a grounded (3-hole) outlet.
• Do not plug in devices that exceed the electrical ratings listed above.
• Do not use with a heater, generator, convection/conventional oven, microwave, sump pump, water-related device, life-support device, medical device, or vehicle battery charger.
• Stop using the Studio2.4 if either indicator light is off (see Anatomy below).
• Do not attempt to alter or repair the unit yourself.

Studio2.4 Anatomy

• Horizontal AC Outlets — sideways-oriented outlets for a more compact footprint and easier fit for oddly-shaped plugs.
• Dual 90° AC Outlets — angled outlets sized for larger plugs.
• Dual USB Charging — combined 2.4A (12W) output; can charge two devices simultaneously.
• Advanced Surge Protection — internal circuitry that defends connected devices against transient voltage spikes.
• Green "Grounded" Light — confirms the outlet you're plugged into is properly grounded. If it doesn't light, use a different outlet.
• Center Mounting Screw — anchors the Studio2.4 firmly to the wall outlet. For decorator-style outlets, hold the small red tab in place and remove the screw with a screwdriver.
• Blue "Protected" Light — indicates the surge protection circuit is active. If unlit, the unit has absorbed a surge and sacrificed itself — replace it.

USB Charging

For the fastest charge, plug in up to two smartphones or one tablet at a time. For overnight charging, plug in any combination of devices — they'll both be fully charged well before morning.

Quick Setup

1. Remove the screw from the wall plate covering the wall outlet (hold the wall plate in place rather than letting it fall).
2. Align the plug from the Studio2.4 with the top wall socket. If your wall outlet is installed upside down or horizontally, flip the Studio2.4 to match.
3. Align the mounting screw on the Studio2.4 with the hole in the wall plate and use a Phillips-head screwdriver to secure it firmly in place. Do not overtighten.
4. For "decorator-style" wall outlets: use a Phillips-head screwdriver to hold the small red tab in place while backing the mounting screw out, then plug the Studio2.4 in, covering the decorator outlet.
5. Plug in your devices — they're now protected by the Studio2.4.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. If interference to radio or television reception occurs, try re-orienting/relocating the receiving antenna, increasing separation between the equipment and receiver, connecting the equipment to a different circuit, or consulting the dealer/an experienced radio-TV technician.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

360 Electrical warrants to the original verified purchaser that the Studio2.4 Surge Protector will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the product, provided it is properly installed and used in a home or office environment. 360 Electrical also warrants that if any electronic equipment connected to the product through its protection outlets is damaged by lightning or power surges/spikes — while properly connected to a common ground (and, if applicable, telephone/coax line through a protected outlet) — 360 Electrical will repair or replace the damaged equipment.

Total liability under this warranty for the product and connected equipment combined shall not exceed $25,000, limited to the actual purchase cost of damaged equipment, and capped at a maximum of $500 per connected device. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages. 360 Electrical may require the return of the damaged unit and connected equipment (freight prepaid), proof of purchase, and a completed claim form before honoring any claim.

How to Make a Claim

1. Visit 360electrical.com and complete the online claim form, describing the type of electronic devices damaged in the surge event.
2. Attach documentation of the damaged equipment as requested.
3. Include the model number and serial number of the damaged equipment.
4. Provide a copy of the receipt showing the Surge Protector was purchased from an authorized retailer.
5. Provide evidence of the date of the power surge/event, if possible.

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect power to the receptacle before installing or removing the unit.
• Use only with a duplex receptacle having an outlet screw.
• Secure the unit in place with the center screw.
