Installation instructions and remote phone-control commands for the 2GIG Vario Voice Module — provides audible status announcements and lets any touch-tone phone act as a remote keypad for a 2GIG Vario System.
The 2GIG Vario Voice Module provides audible information about the status of the 2GIG Vario System and enables any remote touch-tone (DTMF) telephone to act as a keypad for the system. When a system event occurs (such as an alarm activation), the Voice Module notifies a system user by calling a specified telephone number and playing a pre-recorded announcement.

When connecting a Listen-in & Talk Module to the Voice Module, use one of the following wire types for the IN/OUT connections:
Wiring notes: Do not run wires close to power (110/230 VAC), high-voltage wiring, or communication lines. Do not wrap or roll wires. Ground all unused wires by connecting them to the COM terminal. Maximum distance between each Listen-in & Talk Module and the Voice Module is 10 meters; maximum of 10 Listen-in & Speak Modules can be connected to the 2GIG Vario System.
