Overview

The 2GIG Stove & Grill Guard is a sensor that attaches to a stove or grill knob and detects when the knob is turned away from the "off" position, sending a notification to the security panel or smartphone if the burner is left on. It's designed for peace of mind — especially useful for households with seniors — helping prevent fires, gas leaks, and propane loss from accidentally left-on burners. The user can adjust how long a burner must be on before triggering a notification.

It's the first product of its kind in the security industry, compatible with 2GIG (GC2/GC3/Vario) and Honeywell Vista security panels.

Construction

The sensor assembly consists of a knob stem, inner marks, sensor disc, sleeve, and magnet, designed to attach easily to most common stove or grill knobs. Slim and sleek profile: 2.2" diameter, 0.21" thickness.
