Add Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, & Zigbee Control To Small Appliances

Add any plug-in appliance or lamp into a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee smart home network with the Shelly Plug US Gen4. This smart plug adds wireless On/Off control and energy monitoring to any device plugged into it, which gives you more convenient control over your chosen device. The Plug US Gen4 can support an electrical load of up to 1800W @ 15A to allow you to include your TV, portable fan, space heater or kitchen appliances into your compatible smart home network. Additionally, an ambient light sensor is included that can be used to trigger automated scenes based on a room's light level, such as Opening/Closing shutters or turning On/Off lights. The Shelly Wave Plug US also contains surge protection and overheating safety features to keep your plugged in devices from damage caused by excess heating, voltage, current, and power output.

Using the Shelly Smart Control app, Apple Homekit, or smart voice assistants, you can turn on or off the Shelly Plug US Gen4 and its controlled device on demand or according to a preset schedule or automated routine. If the Shelly Plug US Gen4 is plugged into an outlet controlled by a local switch, the switch can also turn it On and Off. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatible Shelly devices do not require a smart hub for remote operation, assigning automated or scheduled functions, or inclusion into a smart scene/routine. If you add the Shelly Plug US Gen4 to a Zigbee or Matter smart network, a smart hub device or computer may be required to manage automations and connected devices.

Enjoy enhanced home automation control and precise monitoring of your Shelly devices no matter where you are with the Shelly Smart Control app. The app connects to Shelly's cloud service to help you control your connected devices remotely and send notifications for all automated events in your home directly to your smart device. You can easily configure devices and manage their settings individually, or you can create personalized scenes by combining Shelly devices to trigger certain actions in your home automation. Installation Details

The Plug US Gen4 can be inserted into any standard US power outlet and allows for control over a single device. A power strip or extension cord should not be plugged into the Plug. Once a device has been plugged in,the Plug US Gen4 can report its real time device status, as well as record and measure their energy consumption over time.
