This extension bar can be used to extend the short, original armature plate so that the electrified magnetic door holder keeps the door open 4 inches away from the wall. This provides 4 inches of space behind a closed door that could be occupied by things such as wall-mounted plumbing or other materials in buildings. Specifically designed for Seco-Larm magnetic door holders DH-171SQ and DH-151SQ.
