Quickly notify the people on your property whenever smoke is detected in your building with the BRK Low Profile Smoke Alarm with Replaceable Battery. Unlike other bulky conventional units, this smoke alarm is built with a low profile, contemporary design to blend with any modern decor. It features advanced smoke protection and smoke sensing technologies with its Photoelectric smoke sensor chamber. The photoelectric smoke sensing chamber detects large particles produced by fires that may smolder for hours before emitting flames. Smoldering fire sources may include burning cigarettes, fireplace embers, or electrical shorts.
When smoke is detected, the unit's audio alarm will emit three beeps, pause, then beep three more times. At the same time, the Power LED will flash red to provide a visual alert. The BRK Low Profile Smoke Alarm also comes with an optional locking feature designed to prevent unauthorized removal. It uses two replaceable AA batteries for power and for testing purposes the Test/Silence Button is easy to access in case you want to temporarily silence or test the alarm.

Installation Details
The BRK Low Profile Smoke Alarm includes mounting hardware and is ideal for ceiling and wall mount installations. Tamper-resistant locking pins lock the battery in place and help prevent unauthorized removal by securing the detector to the mounting bracket. It's recommended to install the battery closest to the outside of the Alarm first – and then the battery which is closer to the inside of the Alarm.
