Instantly receive alerts and hear alarms when smoke is detected with the BRK Interconnectable Ion Smoke Alarm with 10 Year Battery Backup. This hardwired environmental security sensor uses an ionization smoke sensing chamber to detect and report the presence of smoke within a single room. Once a sensor is triggered it will sound an 85 decibel alarm, flash a light, and trigger any connected alarms to also sound off to notify anyone nearby. This sensor includes Smart Interconnect technology which triggers connected First Alert and BRK brand alarms to sound their alarms in tandem with the initial triggered detector. Up to 12 smoke alarms and 6 CO or heat detectors can be paired together in a single alarm network. Only the initially triggered detector will flash its light to signify the source of the alarm.
