This hardwired environmental security sensor uses an ionization smoke sensing chamber and an electrochemical CO sensor that work to detect and report the presence of smoke and/or carbon monoxide within a single room. Once a sensor is triggered it will sound an 85 decibel alarm, flash a light, and trigger any connected alarms to also sound off to notify anyone nearby. This sensor includes Smart Interconnect technology which triggers connected First Alert and BRK brand alarms to sound their alarms in tandem with the initial triggered detector.
