Bar Pushbutton Module For ABB-Welcome IP Door Entry Systems
The ABB-Welcome IP Bar Pushbutton Module installs in a custom ABB-Welcome IP outdoor station to allow a visitor at the door to initiate a call with an indoor station. The module provides three backlit buttons that can each be programmed individually for use either as a single button or as a two-button rocker, allowing customization for various applications. With a button programmed as a two-button rocker, the left side could be used to call a bottom-floor residence in an apartment complex, while the right side could be used to call a second-floor residence.
- Button(s) initiate calls to indoor stations in the ABB-Welcome IP Door Entry System
- Buttons serve as single buttons or two-button rockers
- Backlit nameplate next to button(s) offers labelling option
- High-quality nameplate printing through supporting software

Each button on the Pushbuttons Module additionally serves as a customizable backlit nameplate, giving you the option of labeling the buttons. The backlight offers clear visibility at night. Installation Details
As an outdoor station module, the ABB-Welcome IP Bar Pushbutton Module is designed as a modular device that easily snaps into place with other modules, either above or below, depending on your custom outdoor station configuration. It's then installed into an ABB Flush Mounted Box (sold separately) at the size of your choosing. The module should be combined with at least a video/audio module (sold separately) in a multi-gang box. Once your box size is chosen, a same-size ABB Faceplate is also required to finish the custom-built outdoor station.
After the module is connected, it simply snaps into the box and the faceplate snaps over it onto the box. The box can be flush- or surface-mounted with accessories.

ABB-Welcome IP: Power and Connectivity
Bringing innovative features and design to a new door communication system, ABB-Welcome IP unfolds the true potential of IP technology. It uses the power of LAN connectivity and PoE connections to integrate ABB-Welcome IP devices with other devices, such as IP surveillance cameras, creating one system for all needs. PoE connection makes additional wires needless, making installation easier and quicker.
Depending on available equipment and construction of the building, ABB-Welcome IP devices share the LAN network cables with other systems for exchanging information and providing power to connected ABB-Welcome IP devices. IP gateways can be used when interlacing seperate networks, which is practical when connecting a door system with a home network.
