Home Controls now carries the OEM Systems Mainstation, an all-in-one touchscreen home audio receiver and entertainment controller.

The OEM Systems Mainstation is an in-wall touchscreen audio receiver that incorporates versatile audio playback with an Android OS capable of supporting various automation, entertainment, security, and productivity applications from the Google Play store. The Mainstation’s physical buttons command audio playback and input selection while the 10.1 touchscreen interface allows access to more versatile applications. Applications, customized settings, and locally stored audio are saved to the Mainstation’s 32GB onboard memory, which can be expanded in size using Micro SD cards. This combination of features provides users with an adaptable home entertainment system suited for small-to-medium sized installations, including houses, apartments, RVs, office spaces, and more. 

The Mainstation can connect to audio sources via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, auxiliary cable, or USB connections, as well as AM/FM Radio and local storage from Micro SD cards or USB memory sticks. Up to 4 dual stereo outputs at 25W per channel can be supported at one time, ideal for single or dual zone audio systems. The touchscreen can also play videos from streaming apps, connected video cameras or local memory. A built-in microphone enables voice command capability using Google Home or even intercom functionality via a compatible application or connection to a Wi-Fi connected device.

The Mainstation can also be configured to command Wi-Fi based home security or home automation devices. While the Mainstation cannot act as a hub for a smart home or smart security system, it can perform as an additional point of control for convenient access when your smartphone is out of reach. Security or home automation applications can be downloaded to the Mainstation via the Google Play store and use a similar interface as smartphone or tablet apps. This enables the Mainstation to be utilized as a video monitor for Wi-Fi cameras or doorbell stations (without alert notifications), a local controller for activating/deactivating Wi-Fi connected lights or devices, and more.
