Home Controls is proud to introduce one of the most intelligent surveillance hubs available: The Camect Home Smart Video Recorder Hub.

This security management hub is capable of incorporating IP security cameras from over 50 manufacturers and partnering them with an impressive artificial intelligence that identifies and tracks movement unlike any other motion detecting camera on the market.

Smart Motion Detection and Smart Alert Delivery are Camect’s signature features. Standard motion detection triggers an alert upon detecting any kind of movement. The Camect Hub’s smart objection detection Artificial Intelligence (AI) is capable of distinguishing between people, animals, and vehicles, and alerting you only when certain subjects are detected. The AI is advanced enough to identify different types of vehicles such as buses, motorcycles, and standard cars, and is even capable of distinguishing between USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL delivery trucks. Additionally, the Camect hub can spot various kinds of animals including dogs, cats, raccoons, bears, mice, and more!

No other camera or surveillance system hub can identify as many different moving subjects as Camect can. Instead of alerting you whenever motion of any kind is detected, the Camect Hub can be programmed to only send you notifications when movement from certain subjects are seen by any of your security cameras. Get alerts only when deliveries arrive instead of everytime a car drives by. Know when your pet escapes from your property or when a raccoon or bear is raiding your garbage bins.

Most security or surveillance systems require using devices from a singular manufacturer or within a small circle of brands. Camect frees users from having to purchase from a narrow list of approved cameras by supporting compatibility with virtually any IP camera, including Nest, Arlo, and Wyze cameras. This allows you to add any pre-existing cameras you may own to your new surveillance system and increases your options for selecting new cameras. All cameras supported by Camect may be used within a single aggregate video feed.

The Camect Hub is best designed for small to medium-sized surveillance systems. With a maximum system resolution of 24 Megapixels, the number of cameras you can operate at a given time depends on the resolution selected for your cameras to record with and the areas the cameras are monitoring. The total number of simultaneously operating cameras range from a maximum of twenty four (24) 720p resolution cameras to three (3) 4K resolution cameras.

The Camect Hub stores footage locally on a 1 terabyte hard drive, which can be expanded with additional memory storage via external hard drives and/or cloud storage backup with popular programs like Dropbox and Google Drive.

Access the Camect Hub via a web browser or smart device application. Certain online and remote features including remote accessibility, Smart Alert Delivery, Amazon Alexa and Google Home compatibility, and more are available under a Camect Go subscription. Camect systems using only two cameras are able to utilize Camect Go features for free, but any system that uses more than two cameras requires a paid Camect Go subscription.

As an exclusive offer, Camect customers who purchase their device from Home Controls receive a free year subscription of Camect Go included with their purchase.
