Optimum Performance with Autoformers

These controls utilize autoformers to efficiently transfer power from the amplifier to the speaker. Autoformers are the electrical equivalent to a gearbox in an automobile. Each of the 12 volume positions works like a different gear. It is common to locate these controls in either the same room as the speakers, or a different room.
