Remote On/Off Control For Two Individual Devices

Power and protect two connected devices while adding On/Off control with the NETIO PowerCable 2PB Smart Flat Power Distribution Unit. The PowerCable 2PB is unlike NETIO's line of PowerPDUs that are designed for mounting in a rack cabinet because it has a flat, sleek design, which makes it easier to be installed in tight spaces, such as on a small shelf, in an entertainment cabinet, or behind a TV. This flat PDU comes with 2 power outlets (2x NEMA 5-15R) that power and provide remote On/Off control to 2 connected devices such as TVs, multimedia players, or other displays and AV equipment. Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) is also featured to help protect sensitive electronics by reducing electrical stress of connected devices when switching them On or Off. It also comes with LAN Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity and other features such as WatchDog Ping and Power, Open API support, Power-Up State, and HTTPS security.

The NETIO PowerCable 2PB PDU can be used for various applications. It can be used at home to help keep your smart home network running smoothly by powering home automation and security products. With remote On/Off control for each outlet, you can manage connected devices from anywhere, ensuring your home network has the power when it needs it. It's ideal for IT/Networking installations to power routers, network switches, or modems, which you can reboot from a remote location, saving you the time it takes to physically reboot your system. It can also be used for AV/Broadcasting purposes to power media servers, audio receivers, or displays. Or you can use it in an office setting to power printers, chargers, LED lights, or other equipment. Plus, with the Scheduler functionality, you can have each independent outlet automatically turn On or Off at specified times and days of week.

NETIO Mobile 2

Control your NETIO devices from your mobile device through the NETIO Mobile 2 mobile application for iOS and Android. The NETIO Mobile 2 app allows you to control multiple NETIO smart PDUs, strips, sockets and cables from your mobile device when sharing a local Wi-Fi network. If you have a subscription with the NETIO Cloud Service (sold separately) you can stay connected to your devices from anywhere, instead of having to be connected within the same Wi-Fi network.

From the NETIO Mobile App users can:

  • Add/remove NETIO devices to your account
  • Control individual power outputs or an entire NETIO PDU– ON, OFF, or RESET
  • Read power consumption data (A, W, Wh)
  • Activate / deactivate scheduled functions per each output
  • Group outlets or NETIO devices together for synchronized control
  • Output grouping – default group per one device can be changed individually
  • Group control - Switch the whole group of outputs On / Off
  • Group control - Activate / deactivate scheduled function for individual outputs, individual devices, or groups of devices

NETIO Cloud

NETIO Cloud is a paid subscription service that provides users remote monitoring and control applications of their personal or business infrastructure from anywhere with an Internet connection. From one screen you can control dozens of electrical devices.

Through NETIO Cloud, users can review the power consumption of devices plugged into a PDU outlet or send On/Off/Restart (power cycle) commands to individual or groups of PDU power outlets. Multiple NETIO PDUs can be connected to one account and users can control PDU output(s) from the NETIO Mobile app for iOS & Android or the NETIO Cloud Service web dashboard.

From the NETIO Cloud UI users can:

  • Utilize all functions of the NETIO Mobile app
  • Create multi-user profiles for sharing devices in one account
  • Define User Rights (roles) for remote access control
  • Receive PDU Connection Alert feature sends email notifications for PDU disconnections due to connection or power failure
