Reliable Environmental Reporting

The HomeSeer Z-Wave Plus Leak Sensor (U.S.) monitors hard to reach areas for leaks and excess moisture and reports directly to your home automation controller (sold separately). When the sensor detects moisture through its probe cable it can notify its connected automation controller to sound an alarm, shut off a water valve (additional equipment required), and inform you of the leak. The sensor can also be programmed to send regular status updates to the automation controller to notify you of the amount of time no water has been detected.

Installation Details

The Z-Wave Plus Leak Sensor is battery powered. It can either be placed free standing in a desired location or remotely mounted to a surface and have its wired probe installed in the designated area. If you wish to remote mount the sensor, adhere the magnetic mount to your selected location with the included double-sided adhesive tape or installation screws, attach the sensor to the mount, connect the wired probe to the sensor, and place the probe in the selected area where leaks might occur.
