A Two-Way Wireless Outdoor PIR Motion Sensor

The Elk Outdoor PIR Motion Sensor is designed for both residential and light commercial use and can sense motion within an area of up to 40 feet. It combines the Optex VXI-R battery operated PIR detector with Elk Two-Way Wireless technology for Elk M1 controls. When the outdoor PIR sensor detects motion, the two-way radio transmitter will transmit a signal to the Elk Two-Way Wireless transceiver (sold separately), which will send back a signal acknowledgement – this two-way communication between the PIR motion sensor and Elk's Two-Way Wireless transceiver ensures reliable operation and longer battery life.
