Control virtually any HVAC or heat pump system the AprilAire 8600 Universal Programmable Touchscreen Thermostat. This touchscreen thermostat can command nearly any type of HVAC unit, including single stage or multi stage systems, as well as heat pumps, while offering support for external sensors for increased accuracy and environmental reporting. The thermostat's large 10.3 digital touchscreen displays indoor, target, and outdoor (via 8052 outdoor sensor, sold separately) temperatures, plus adjustable settings, notifications and messaging. This programmable model allows for separate temperature programming for each day of the week, all of which is saved to the thermostat and retained even when power is lost.
