RCS COMMUNICATING THERMOSTAT RS485

EASY INSTALLATION...NO NEW WIRES TO RUN!

NEW! Now with dual Setpoints (separate Heat and Cool)

The TR16 Thermostat is a two-part product, consisting of a Wall Display Unit (WDU) and an HVAC Control Unit. This design makes installation fast and easy. NO NEW WIRES to run to the wall mounted display unit.

WDU: The WDU is the typical thermostat user interface and mounts in the usual thermostat location. It includes a large, easy to read, digital LCD display with continuous backlight, control buttons and temperature sensor.

The WDU also has on-screen setup of sensor calibration, F or C mode, and network address. Includes optional remote sensor terminals.

HVAC Control Unit: The Control Unit is mounted at the HVAC system and allows connection to the communications network in a convenient location without running new wires out to the wall unit.

THE STAT FOR ALL STANDARDS

Fully interactive with RCS CommStar control units, Stargate, AMX, Crestron, HomeSeer, HAL, Premise Systems, HomeVision and many others!

RCS Communicating thermostats include X10, Serial RS-485 and LonWorks compatible communications products. These universal models work with Standard (Gas forced Air), Heatpump, Hydronic and Radiant heating and cooling systems. Supports newer Multi-stage equipment with up to 3 stages of heating and 2 stages of cooling.

The RCS communicating thermostats function as stand alone thermostat subsystems with communications to allow remote data acquisition and control of the units. All thermostat functions can be monitored or controlled via network commands. The only thermostat family that makes retrofit installation a snap. No new wires needed to run out to the thermostat wall location. Unique, industry leading two part design places the thermostat control unit at the mechanical system and a wall display unit at the thermostat on wall location. Uses only four wires to interconnect the two units.
