IMPROVE HEATING & A/C COMFORT WHILE REDUCING ENERGY EXPENSES! Heat & A/C Zone Controls The CommStar Serial HVAC RCZCV6 / RCZCV4 / RCZCV2 Zone Control Systems provide up to 6 independent temperature control zones on a single HVAC mechanical system. The zones are controlled by regulating the flow through forced air dampers. For central HVAC forced air applications. Local zone control is provided by up to six Wall Display Units which allows setting the temperature, system mode or fan mode. In addition, a vent damper can be opened or closed to allow fresh air ventilation/circulation. The RCZCV6 works with standard HVAC systems (2 stage heat, 2 stage cool) and Heat Pump systems (3 stage heat, 2 stage cool). It also supports auto changeover (heat to cool modes) for automatic maintenance of a specific temperature band. Requires an external transformer (40 or 75VA) for the 24VAC power used by the air dampers/valves. Uses RCS N/O Dampers and remote temperature (RCRS15) and outdoor (RCO55) sensors. Needs at least one RCTS40 and one RCTS16/RCTS40 for remainder of Wall Display Units.
