With proper preparation it may also be mounted in ceilings. The revolutionary and space saving design installs from above the floor (or below the ceiling). In other words, installation easily takes place from within the living space, not under the floor. A standard sized 6" x 14" register vent is used to trim/dress the opening. No register is included with the unit. You'll have to choose a standard sized register to match the other registers in the house that are used for the HVAC system.
