HAI HLC UPB PHASE COUPLER 
ENSURE ADEQUATE SIGNAL STRENGTH OF UPB HAI’s Lighting Control (HLC) is for single phase 120/240 VAC, 60 Hz systems. The HLC Phase Coupler mounts by the circuit breaker box and is used to bridge the signal from two electrical phases within the circuit breaker box. The coupler allows both X10 and UPB signals to pass through seamlessly between phases. The LED on the Phase Coupler shows that it is working. Although HLC is extremely robust and less susceptible to powerline conditions, it is recommended that a Powerline Phase Coupler be installed in every HLC system. When you add an HAI Omni or a Lumnia Home Control System to your HLC installation you gain the ability to change your light settings by the time of day, set schedule, by the triggering of events (including motion), via a telephone call, Touchscreen, or by a computer connected to the Internet. When a Home Control System is installed a Scene Switch button may be programmed to run a series of commands, such as setting lighting levels and changing drapery levels. UPB HOME LIGHTING CONTROL SIMPLIFIED! All HLC products are UL Listed and use Universal Powerline Bus (UPB™) – a digital communications standard for lighting and home control that ensures superior reliability. UPB™ has been extensively tested and researched in residential environments and found to be 99.9% reliable. UPB™ works over existing wires in a home and does not require new wiring. HLC provides lighting control either room by room or for the whole house. HLC “smart switches” and room controllers provide modular options; set elegant lighting scenes for each room, adding as needs change. HLC "smart" switches and room controllers let you easily set elegant lighting scenes for each room, without the use of complicated software programs. The HLC product line replaces standard "on/off" lighting switches, and gives you the option of saving specific lighting configurations or "scenes" according to time of day or occasion. With the HAI house controllers, indoor and outdoor lighting can be coordinated and set by schedule, time of day, or event. Have the front door and driveway lights come on at dusk, have all lights come on in the event of a security alarm or fire, set graceful landscape lighting scenes or stylish indoor lighting scenes for entertaining or daily enjoyment.
