Installation of the Leviton Signal Attenuator attenuates ("knocks down") external noise and signal levels entering the DHC network. This Signal Attenuator is designed to be used when there is no easy access to the neutral wire for the Leviton LV6284 Whole House Noise Block. It is designed to provide a low impedance at the DHC signal frequency to reduce problems from outside noise sources such as intercoms, baby monitors and other powerline carrier equipment. Since this product also knocks down DNC signal, it is to be used in conjunction with the LV6201 Signal Repeater. This Attenuator installs at the main panel on a dedicated 15 amp circuit breaker.
