The Rain8 is a full featured, 8 zone irrigation controller that may be linked together to provide a maximum of 256 zones of operation. A must for automating lawn sprinkler systems.

A complete irrigation schedule can be triggered by the reception of a single X10 power line carrier command. With its dual mode capability, each individual zone can be controlled independently if the user prefers.

Using a PC and our software all aspects of irrigation may be controlled over the Internet.

Electrical Voltage 24 - 27v AC, 50 or 60 hz . 120v AC to 24v, 300 ma, class 2, wall mounted transformer is included with all orders (US and Canada only). 220 volt users need to purchase locally a 220v AC to 24v AC transformer with a 300 ma minumum rating and 220v power line interface

Controller Current 30 ma

Sprinkler Valve Voltage & Current 24v AC , 250 ma max (with supplied transformer)

Connections 12 place, plug in terminal strip.

Two piece design allows user to unplug controller from sprinkler valve and power wiring. terms 1 - 8 (sprinkler valves 1 - 8) term 9 (sprinkler valve common) term 10 (no connection) terms 11 & 12 (24v AC from transformer)

PC (RS-232 serial port) Used only to configure controller. Controller derives its power from PC. DB9

Power Line Interface (RJ11 data port) connects to X10's TW523 or PSC05. Interconnecting cable is included.
