The Makita Contact Closure Interface Module is a multi-functional control device that takes simple contact closure (momentary, maintained or TTL) and converts it to the signal the motor(s) require for operation. It also allows for "Home Theater" screen masking (various aspect ratios) through its "Theater" function.

The unit can be used in four different modes. Choose the mode that fits your particular application and switch type.

Momentary Mode:

1. For use with one single pole double throw center off momentary rocker type switch.
2. For use with individual single pole single throw switches/push buttons (normally open or normally closed) for each command.

Maintained Mode: For use with a single pole single throw maintained switch or one TTL signal per channel or X10 module UM506.

Theater Mode: This feature allows for masking of projection screens for two aspects. It's designed for use with three momentary push buttons or IR remote, and a single magnetic switch attached to the rod or two TTL inputs from a Runco projector with a magnetic switch attached to the rod.

Multiple Presets Mode: This feature allows for up to five preset stop positions. It's designed for use with multiple (2 - 10) momentary, normally open push buttons or IR Remote, and up to 4 magnetic switches attached to the rod.
