ZONED BYPASS DAMPER, 10"
Zoned HVAC systems may require the use of a bypass damper to act as a pressure relief when more than one zone is closed. Barometric bypass dampers respond to increased static pressure in the supply side of the duct system and open to "dump" the excess pressure into the return side of the duct system or into a common space. These all-mechanical bypass dampers are easily installed and adjusted to the pressure relief requirements of the system by a weighted arm. No power required.
