You can remotely control a wired incandescent lighting fixture with X10 by connecting it to the X10 PRO Wired-In Dimmer Fixture Module. The module fits inside a recessed lighting can or single-gang box, and wires directly into the circuit, giving you X10 control where an X10 wall switch or outlet module cannot be used. It's perfect for remote control of filament style lighting, non-fluorescent track lighting, spot lamps, and more.

The X10 PRO Wired-In Dimmer Fixture Module responds to ON/OFF, DIM/BRIGHT and ALL LIGHTS ON/OFF commands from an X10 controller. The module can be mounted using adhesive strips. It is equipped with leads for easy installation.

The X10 PRO Dimmer Fixture Module is an X10 Wired-In Receiver

A basic X10 system includes a Transmitter and a Receiver – both sold separately. Transmitters are control devices that send X10 signals through your home's electrical wiring to X10 Receivers. When a Receiver receives a command, it responds by turning a light, appliance or other electrical device On or Off, and sometimes Dim or Bright.
