Turn On/Off & Dim/Brighten Three X10 Receivers

Control three X10 receiver modules using the X10 PRO 4-Button Keypad (3 Address & 1 Dimmer). This keypad attaches to the front of an X10 PRO Wall Transmitter Base Module (XPT, sold separately) to create a custom X10 wall switch. Once installed, the keypad sends On/Off and Dim/Brighten commands to three sequential X10 unit codes.

  • Attaches to the front of an XPT transmitter base
  • Controls three sequential X10 unit codes
  • True rocker action (left and right)
  • Fits standard Decora wallplates

How It Works

When used with the transmitter base, the X10 PRO 4-Button Keypad (3 Address & 1 Dimmer) controls three X10 receivers by running the Unit Codes in sequential order. In other words, if you have the dials on the transmitter base set to House Code B and Unit Code 4, this keypad will control the X10 receivers set to House Code B and Unit Codes 4, 5, and 6. The top button will turn On/Off Unit Code 4, the next button will control Unit Code 5, and the third button will control Unit Code 6. The bottom Dim/Bright button controls whichever Unit Code you last turned on.

Attaching the Keypad

Place the keypad onto the XPT transmitter base by inserting the tab on top of the keypad under the notch on the base. Gently, but firmly press the bottom of the keypad into place so that the pins on the back enter into the XPT base socket.

NOTE: The keypad must be attached to the front of an X10 PRO Wall Transmitter Base Module (XPT, sold separately). Wallplate not included.

The X10 PRO 4-Button Keypad is an X10 Wired-In Transmitter

A basic X10 system includes a Transmitter and a Receiver – both sold separately. Transmitters are control devices that send X10 signals through your home's electrical wiring to X10 Receivers. When a Receiver receives a command, it responds by turning a light, appliance or other electrical device On or Off, and sometimes Dim or Bright.
